Welcome to our new feature, the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® Color of the Month! Each month we’ll share one of our favorite Chalk Paint® colors and some fun projects!
This month we’re getting neutral and talking about Original and how it compares to the other neutrals in the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® line.
Original is a traditional white with a warm, slightly creamy look. It’s the color you think of when you think of old furniture and it’s perfect for creating a distressed French look.
Original Pairs Well With: Duck Egg Blue, Antoinette, and Louis Blue
Old White is the color of chalk. It’s a soft, off white that mixes well with everything and is perfect for lightening any of the other Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® colors.
Pure White is crisp and modern with a slightly cool tone. It contrasts well with strong colors and offers the least coverage of all the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® colors.
Old Ochre brings to mind old French painted with its faded dark cream color. Pair with Dark Chalk Paint® Wax to make the color more intense.
Did you know that Adjectives is the exclusive Central Florida stockist for the original UK formulation of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint®? We also stock The Colourist Bookazine! Bigger than a magazine, but smaller than a book, this bi-annual publication features design inspiration, Chalk Paint® projects and more!
